Hydroelectric Dam Works

SIFM carries out specialised underwater works in hydroelectric dams, including the installation of limnimetric ladders (water level gauges), structural inspections of dam faces, and maintenance of hydraulic infrastructure. Our certified divers are trained to operate safely in controlled freshwater environments.

Limnimetric scale installation requires precise positioning and secure anchoring to deliver accurate water level readings for dam operators. SIFM ensures all installations are performed to the required technical specifications, with full documentation for the dam operator's records.

How We Work

Our Dam Works Process

Site Survey
A pre-dive assessment of the dam face, water level, and current conditions is carried out to plan the intervention safely.
Dive Preparation
Divers are briefed on the specific installation or inspection requirements, with all equipment and safety protocols confirmed.
Underwater Works
The limnimetric ladder or structural element is installed at the precise required location, with positioning verified by surface team coordination.
Verification & Documentation
The completed installation is verified by camera inspection and documented with photographs for operator records.
