Sheet Pile Repair

Underwater Sheet Pile Repair

SIFM provides professional underwater sheet pile repair and rehabilitation services for port structures, quays, and marine infrastructure. Our certified divers work directly in the water to assess, repair, and reinforce deteriorated sheet piles without the need for costly dewatering or dry-dock operations.

Using underwater welding, mechanical fastening, and composite repair systems, we restore structural integrity to corroded or damaged sheet pile walls. All repairs comply with applicable port authority standards and are documented with photographic and video evidence.

Underwater sheet pile repair — structural rehabilitation

Our Sheet Pile Repair Process

  1. Structural Assessment

Divers perform a detailed visual and tactile inspection of the sheet pile wall, identifying areas of corrosion, deformation, or mechanical damage.

  2. Surface Preparation

The repair zone is cleaned of marine growth, corrosion products, and contaminants to ensure proper adhesion and weld quality.

  3. Repair Execution

Depending on the damage type, our divers apply underwater welding, clamp systems, or composite wrapping to restore structural integrity.

  4. Quality Verification

The completed repair is inspected with camera documentation to confirm coverage, finish, and structural continuity.

  5. Report Delivery

A comprehensive repair report with before/after photos and technical data is delivered for port authority or owner records.
